There have been a lot of changes going on at the Image Workshop. First up is the new-look website that you’re now reading. It’s been great updating and refreshing the look of the site whilst also making some significant changes to the back end that allow me to manage it and add new images much, much easier than the old site. Big thanks go to Michelle Sullivan at Web Matters for creating my new site in WordPress (and showing me how to use it!)
But it’s not just my internet presence that’s changed – my physical presence has changed too! I’ve recently moved house and have had to pack up and shift my entire home office (along with all my other possessions – there’s nothing like moving house to make you re-assess your supposed ‘need’ for so many things). The new house is beautiful – it’s in nice tree-lined street in Christchurch and is much bigger than my old place. It’s also got a spare room that’s soon going to be turned into an indoor portrait studio, as I’m gravitating more and more towards portraiture these days.
The new home office is definitely taking shape, although there’s still a lot of unpacking to do and the walls are certainly in need of more photos. However I don’t imagine it will take me very long to fill them!
