A short time ago I did some PR portraiture for award-winning New Zealand author Rachael King. Her new novel Magpie Hall is due out at the end of October and she wanted some updated headshots for the PR and media machine.

We did a number of relaxed headshots and environmental portraits at her home, and the first one has just been published in this week’s edition of the top-rated NZ current affairs magazine The Listener. The photo looks great and I’m pleased that Rachael is getting good publicity mileage out of the images. She’s a fantastic author and I absolutely can’t wait to read her new book.
