Hi Sharon, Great photos and a great article!
I’m a real estate photographer in Canterbury and when I moved to New Zealand (from Sweden) in 2008 I learned that only 5% of NZ real estate agents are using professional photography on their listings. Wow! From where I come from It’s a known fact that a professional presentation gives you up to 10-15% higher sale price. A fact you’ve proven very well here! (A photo session for a property is only around $200…)
It takes 3-4 years to become a master photographer and only a few weeks or months to become a real estate agent. Some food for thoughts.

Learning how to craft ads that earn cash is definitely an art. I’m finally getting the hang of it, although it does take practice.

I have to admit that the pictures you have taken are way better than the ones of the agency. Anyway from my experience many RE agencies hire professional photographers to take the pictures. It just depend on who you hire to sell/rent your house.
