A little bit about me

I grew up in Canada and have been creating pictures for as long as I can remember. My first love was painting, but a school project to make a pinhole camera out of a shoebox sparked a lifelong fascination with the captured image – I’ve now been photographing for almost two decades.

With a background in fine art, graphic design and environmental sciences I have a keen sense of visual composition as well as a passion and reverence for the natural world.

My images have a unique style and often present a fresh or unusual view of the subject matter. I strive to create images I’m utterly passionate about and that others see and say “wow!”

I offer freelance photography services, and from time to time exhibit my fine art photography and teach creative photography workshops.

I live in beautiful Christchurch, New Zealand but I have an up to date passport, love to travel and relish the challenge of interesting and unique assignments.
